This was our second visit to Seattle, having been there before on our road trip through the USA & Canada in 2016. This time there were actually two visits, the first one after we arrived from New York and the second after we came back from our Alaska cruise.

Seattle's Great Wheel

Seattle's Great Wheel in Seattle, USA. Located at the end of Pier 57 next to Miners Landing it can be easily reached. Great way to see the city from above.

Miners landing

Whether you are a Seattle native or visiting for the first time, Miners Landing is the perfect place to come with your family and friends! Some nice restaurants and cafes can be found here.

Close-up of Seattle's Great Wheel. This huge ferris wheel is located on the Waterfront next to a couple of restaurants. It's a perfect ride with great views over Downtown Seattle.

The farmers market

The farmers market in Seattle, USA is a truly vibrant place where literally everything is sold, both food and nonfood. Pike's fish market which can be found on the ground floor has even become a world famous attraction. Great place to hang out at for a few hours.

The Space Needle

The Space Needle is definitely the most iconic building in the city of Seattle, USA. It can be seen from everywhere and is a great place to go up on to admire the 360 degree views.

Leaving Seattle behind

Leaving Seattle on the cruise ship Norwegian Spirit on our way to Alaska. It is always a beautiful sight to see a city skyline and Seattle has a pretty one. On the left the Space Needle can be seen.

Amazon Nitro North (HQ)

Amazon has an enormous amount of buildings in use in Downtown Seattle, USA. This is their headquarters building.

The Space Needle framed by trees

The Space Needle in the city of Seattle in Washington, USA can be seen from almost everywhere in the city. Even though it was built many years ago it is still as modern looking as when it opened to the public. It is possible to go up by means of a fast elevator and provides excellent 360 degree views.

While waiting in line to go up the Space Needle we got a great view looking upwards. I can definitely recommend visiting the Space Needle when in the city of Seattle in Washington, USA.

Downtown Seattle

Gorgeous view of Downtown Seattle as seen from the top of the Space Needle. It was a pretty clear day and Mount Rainier could be seen which is approximately 90 miles away.
