Venice, Italy, Europe

It was clear from the beginning of making our plans for this road trip that Venice was to be the start in Italy. We planned for two full days in the city and thus stayed for three nights a little outside of the centre. It turned out to be relatively easy to enter the city by car and find a decent parking space. This city is awesome to stroll through and it is definitely recommended. Be aware though that you will not be alone, many other tourists are visiting at the same time and sometimes it's truly overwhelming. We found that avoiding the main streets provided a much nicer experience.
