Hattem, The Netherlands (2021)

We were on a roll while discovering The Netherlands during the Covid period, slowly ticking off our list of interesting places in our home country. Another small city we visited during the winter of 2021 was Hattem in the province of Overijssel. Even though the weather was great, not many people were around as all shops and restaurants were closed.

All photo's can be purchased on various materials through my shop on artheroes.com.

Below are all the photos related to this travel experience including the relevant link to the shop.

We loved the small houses of people that are actually living along the historic city wall in the small city of Hattem in The Netherlands. It was a great day to explore this Dutch gem.

Hattem city hall

The old & new city hall in the city of Hattem in The Netherlands next to each other. The old building which is in the centre here is definitely the most beautiful of the two, especially when it is lit by some sunshine.

The small city of Hattem in The Netherlands has a lot of history. Next to the old windmill 'De Fortuin' is a small house where the miller used to live. The bench at the miller's house is mainly for decorative purposes.

Lovely street

One of the many lovely streets in the small city of Hattem in The Netherlands. We really enjoyed being able to stroll around in the empty streets, one of the few advantages of the Covid pandemic.
