Singapore (2018)

In November of 2018, before me and my wife embarked on a cruise to Sydney, Australia we spent a few days in Singapore. Great city to explore with lots of photo opportunities.

All photo's can be purchased on various materials through my shop on artheroes.com.

Below are all the photos related to this travel experience including the relevant link to the shop.

House with the plants

A friend of ours showed us around Singapore and brought us to Koon Seng road, a less touristic area of the city. Lovely coloured houses with lots of nice details.

Red porthole

We visited the Kuan Im Tng temple in Singapore and were in awe with the amount of colours and details found there.

Marina Bay Sands by night

The view over Singapore is great from the Marina Barrage, especially at night. This particular photo gives me a really warm feeling.

Green & pink entrance

One of the entrances to Kampong Glam which is known as Singapore’s Muslim Quarter. Great neighbourhood to spend a bit of time in. I remember the vivid colours well.

Such a cool shop

Kampong Glam in Singapore has so many cute little shops. I was particularly taken by this one.

Green & yellow house

One of the many examples of bright coloured houses in Kampong Glam, Singapore. They really made me feel happy.

Similar, yet different

Two almost identical houses in Kampong Glam, Singapore. I loved the bright colours and eye for detail.

Fullerton Bay Hotel

Walking from downtown Singapore towards the Marina Bay we walked through the lobby of this gorgeous hotel. Such amazing details and atmosphere.

Anderson Bridge

It was nice to see that Singapore cherishes its history. The Anderson Bridge was opened in 1910 and is now used as a pedestrian bridge.

Photoshoot on Anderson Bridge

It was nice to see that Singapore cherishes its history. The Anderson Bridge was opened in 1910 and is now used as a pedestrian bridge or, in this case for a wedding photoshoot.

Old meets new at the Singapore River

Boat Quay is one of the oldest areas in Singapore. High rise buildings are closing in though which is a pity. However, it was great to see that Singapore keeps some of the history alive.

Stuff in jars

While walking in the Katong part of Singapore we got to see so many cute little shops. I still have no idea what was in all of these jars but it sure looked pretty.

Taking shelter

It wasn't the best of days to walk around in Singapore but luckily we found shelter under this tree, overlooking the old trading houses on Boat Quay.
