Seattle, Washington, USA

Our two-week road trip started in Seattle, Washington. In just two days we managed to see the most important sights in the city. We visited the Public Market, went up the Space Needle at sunset, travelled to Bainbridge Island using the ferry that is frequently shown in Grey's Anatomy and even managed to visit the house of Meredith Grey.

All photo's can be purchased on various materials through my shop on artheroes.com.

Below are all the photos related to this travel experience including the relevant link to the shop.

To boldly go where no man has gone before!

I had seen Seattle's monorail pass a couple of times and wanted to get a shot of it with the Space Needle in the background. It took some time but I finally succeeded. The Star Trek pictures on the side of the trains made me come up with the title.

Tucked away

I love walking around in cities as I'm always hoping for a surprise of some sort. And yes, here in Seattle, I was happily surprised by the sheer amount of old historic buildings that were kept despite the modernization.

The Seattle Great Wheel

Standing below the Great Wheel on Seattle's Waterfront. We did not go for a ride but it sure looked impressive standing underneath it.

The Seattle Waterfront

On the ferry from Bainbridge Island back towards Seattle we got this perfect view on the Waterfront. I just love a beautiful skyline.

The Seattle skyline

Returning back to Seattle after the ferry ride to Bainbridge Island. I can't get enough of a good skyline.

Dizzy wheel

The Seattle waterfront as seen from the ferry with its Great Wheel right in the middle. For dramatic effect I have used the zoom feature of the camera to create this artistic look. It does make you feel dizzy, doesn't it?
