Delft, The Netherlands (2012)

Part of the modern building that belongs to InHOLLAND in the city of Delft, the Netherlands. It is a small university with unique courses in the fields of biology, nature, environment and technology. I loved the sky that was being reflected in the windows and the pillars supporting the sky as such.

Even though it is really, really old this church is actually called the new church. It is located in the city of Delft in the Netherlands. It has stood in Delft since 1351. Since then, the church has endured many setbacks, including a lightning strike and the Delft Thunderclap.

The Netherlands are well-known for their waterways and old city centres everywhere have many canals and bridges. Here is such a bridge at the Gasthuislaan in the city of Delft. If found the title 'Bridge over troubled water' quite appropriate.

We loved browsing around on the open air bazaar in the city of Delft, the Netherlands. We especially liked this corner on the Bastiaansplein where books were sold.

Passing this chaotic greenhouse while visiting friends in the city of Delft in the Netherlands. I thought it provided a really nice and cosy atmosphere.
