When friends of ours emigrated to Sweden last year we said we would visit them soon. So this year we booked the ferry from Kiel in Germany to Göteborg to spend a few days with them in the area called Värmlands län. We loved every minute of this little road trip and especially enjoyed the rich nature in Sweden.

Sailing underneath a bridge on a ship which appears to be way too high is always an exciting experience. We loved seeing the Stena Germanica ferry almost touching the Älvsborg bridge near the city of Göteborg in Sweden.
Our friends home had an amazing view from the living room overlooking Aplungen lake near the town of Västra Ämtervik in Sweden. Gorgeous place to be able to call home.
