While staying in Perth, Western Australia we enjoyed a short trip to Sydney, New South Wales on the East Coast to attend a concert by our favourite singer songwriter Delta Goodrem. The concert was in the Sydney Opera House and as such something we just had to go to. We only spend a few days in and around Circular Quay near the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.

While having an evening walk on Circular Quay we had an amazing view on the Sydney Opera House at night in the city of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It's pretty surreal to be so close to such an iconic building that is known all over the world.
The lit-up art piece called 'Secret World of a Starlight Ember' on Circular Quay in the city of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Secret World of a Starlight Ember was created specifically for the “Lindy Lee: Moon in a Dew Drop” exhibition and was sited over-looking Sydney Harbour on the Museum of Contemporary Art’s forecourt. The shimmering, polished stainless-steel sculpture spans 5m wide and is articulated by thousands of meticulously placed perforations that represent the marvels of a spiralling cosmos. By day, the sculpture absorbs and reflects its surrounding environment; by night the artwork illuminates to create its own burning constellation.
