I have always had a thing for tall office buildings with glass walls. Here are some blue skyscrapers against a bright blue sky in the city of Perth, Western Australia.

In all the years that we are now coming to the city of Perth in Western Australia we have seen the area around Elizabeth Quay expand with more and more office buildings added every year. Here we have the sun hiding behind the tallest building.

After taking the ferry across the Swan River we ended up in South Perth, Western Australia. It's lovely to have a leisurely walk in the Sir James Mitchell Park. Quite a bit of art there as well, like the R'evolve art work.

We love walking around in the city of Perth, Western Australia. Most places are made easily accessible like a small park on the other side of the road by means of a well designed pedestrian bridge.

Close encounter with a young kangaroo while having a walk on Heirisson Island near the city of Perth in Western Australia. Heirisson Island is located in the Swan River and hosts a small mob of kangaroos. They are roaming around free but are used to people. This one was quite curious.

While on a walk along the Swan River we approached the Trafalgar Bridge and Claisebrook Cove near the city of Perth in Western Australia. It's a perfect spot to have lunch.

Checking out Iluka Beach in the suburb of Iluka near the city of Perth, Western Australia. Like almost everywhere else along the Indian Ocean coast there is easy access to the beach by means of a boardwalk.

We keep getting drawn to this magnificent bridge everytime we're here. Its design is truly remarkable and we just love the wavy forms of the Matagarup Bridge in the city of Perth, Western Australia.

We were finally able to visit the new Boorloo Bridge in the city of Perth, Western Australia. It looked amazing at sunset. This pedestrian bridge in two parts crosses the Swan River and was built within time and budget, quite an accomplishment.

Whenever we are in this fabulous part of the world we take multiple walks in Kings Park near the city of Perth, Western Australia. The city skyline is amazing there, especially at sunset.

Given the fact that the Crawley Edge Boatshed (aka Blue Boat House) is the most instagrammable place in the city of Perth it's hard to make a photo that one hasn't made before. Not sure if I succeeded here but I certainly love the dramatic sky at the Blue Boat House.

On yet another sunny Sunday afternoon we decided to head for the North Beach suburb near the city of Perth in Western Australia. Here I started walking towards the Indian Ocean via one of the many boardwalks leading to the beach.

Went on a leisurely walk from the city centre towards Claisebrook Cove near the city of Perth in Western Australia. This part of the city is named after the lovely Claise Brook that slowly streams towards the Swan River.

'Lest we forget' is written on the magnificent State war memorial in Kings Park near the city of Perth in Western Australia. It stand at the edge of the park, high above the city overlooking the Swan River.

Went on a wonderful walk along the ocean on a beautiful autumn day. We loved this peaceful view over the Indian Ocean near the suburb of Cottesloe, part of the city of Perth in Western Australia.
